Guestlist Check-ins: QR Code Scanning
Check-in via the guestlist QR code (either printed out or displayed on a mobile device) at the venue entrance.
The QR code corresponds to the SLIDE guestlist for a particular event and associates the customer check-in with that event.
Note: You will need to print off/display the new QR code for each event/night as each QR code will only work with its corresponding event.
When the customer with the guestlist reservation arrives, they click the 'SCAN QR CODE' button on their phone to bring up the QR scanner. (note staff members can also do this themselves from the customer's phone).
Upon scanning the QR code, the following pop-up will appear to confirm the actual number of attendees. Again the customer can do this under staff supervision OR staff can do this from the customer's phone themselves. This confirmation ensures that the actual number of attendees will be checked-in.
Note: The confirmed number of attendees cannot exceed the number of guests that the reservation was initially made for. E.g. if a customer books for 5 people, then only 5 people or less can be checked-in, even if the max booking per guestlist party was configured as a higher number.
After confirming the number of attendees, the check-in process is complete.
